The JTPC is a developmental program designed to help young tournament players build their confidence and move up to the next level.
The following are my 3 levels of a Junior Tournament Golfer:
Level 1 – practices and/or plays golf once a week. Has played some tournament golf, usually in the summer months, in JC Junior Tour, San Diego Junior Golf Association or North County Junior Golf Association events.
Level 2 – practices and/or plays golf 3-5 days a week. Plays golf tournaments year-round in SDJGA, SCPGA or FCG events. Can break 45 for 9 holes at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course from the Silver Tees.
Level 3 – Advanced player – practices and/or plays golf every day. Plays tournament golf year-round in SDJGA, FCG, SCPGA, AJGA or USGA events. Can break par for 9 holes at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course from the Silver Tees.
To get started, you will need to first book a one hour session at www.thegolfmason.com where we can talk about your goals and develop a practice and training routine that works for you.
Next, once I get enough interest, I will work on putting together 2 hour group classes that are based on skill level and age, minimum of 4 players to start a class.. The first hour will be on the driving range and short game area at the north end of the driving range at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The second hour will be on the golf course (5 player class size limit). These classes are conducted late after school on weekdays, typically 5-7pm, when time permits.
To sign up for the Players Club, call or text 760-473-8483 or e-mail john@thegolfmason.com. Thank you.
